Addressing Digital Inequities in K-12 Schools

This webinar will explore the current digital inequities that exist in K-12 education and explore ways that school systems are working to alleviate those inequities. First, the webinar will give a brief overview of K-12 digital inequities, such access to high speed internet, access to tools, digital skills gap, and access to quality professional development. Next, the webinar will have two guest speakers who are addressing digital equity issues. First Kurt Peloso will describe how Everyoneon.com has partnered with school systems to provide affordable digital access to high needs communities. Next, Ron Siegle will share how the non-profit All Band Communications is working with rural communities to provide access. Finally, the webinar will share other funding opportunities and state and federal laws in place (or proposed) that could support to alleviate digital inequities. Find all the details here.
