MACUL launched Learning Areas to help support deeper learning opportunities for our members. The Learning Areas will support the practice of our MACUL members by offering unique PD for their target audiences throughout the year, as well as support the Annual MACUL Conference with workshops that provide deeper dives into current topics for each Learning Area’s vision.
OUR TEAMS:
OUR VISION:
To raise awareness and provide professional development about Universal Design for Learning, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Promote meaningful access to technology based resources as a good faith effort to bridge the digital divide and HW broadband gap.
OUR VISION:
The MACUL Technology in Education Learning Area embraces the use of technology in all areas of education and strives to offer educators opportunities to grow their knowledge and application of innovative practices throughout the state.
OUR VISION:
To provide support to district and school technology leaders by providing them with information, experiences and networking opportunities that will assist them in their efforts to facilitate the effective use of educational technology in their organizations
OUR VISION:
Our Learning Area will target What’s hot right now or on the verge of being hot. Whether that is MakerEd, VR/AR, CS and Computational Thinking, AI, STEM or other emerging technologies. We will be here to support learning opportunities for our membership in these up and coming fields of #edtech.
