MACUL is excited to partner with other Michigan professional development-focused organizations to co-brand a series of webinars in the 2022-23 school year, specifically integrating digital literacies into content areas. We are working to support you with timely, actionable impact by taking advantage of the many national “celebrations” that are supported by these different professional groups such as the arts’ “National Arts in Education” week in September, literacy’s “National Day on Writing” in October, media education’s “Media Literacy Week” in October, and computer sciences “#CSedWeek” in December. And, given that it is an election year, we figured that a connection to social studies and civics would be appropriate, too. Join us for one or all of the FREE webinars by registering for the live zoom event or to get access to the recordings.
The sky is the limit when it comes to STEM projects. Whether it’s creating a flashlight, fashioning a solar-powered light, or learning about factors and prime numbers, if a student or educator can dream it up, it’s possible with the power of STEAM!
